1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Eastern Industries (Private) Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with M2PACT, our Windows desktop software, and the website at m2pact.com (together, the “Services”).
M2PACT is construction progress and quantity management software for commercial teams. It is designed primarily for local use on your Windows computer.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers:
- the M2PACT website and related public pages
- the M2PACT Windows desktop application
- licence purchases, activation and validation
- customer support and related communications
It does not cover websites, products or services operated independently by other companies, even where we link to or integrate with them.
3. Project data stays on your computer
M2PACT is a desktop application. Construction drawings, measurements, quantity takeoff data, progress records, WIR information, exports and other project files are stored on the computer or storage location you choose.
We do not operate M2PACT as a cloud project workspace. We do not automatically upload your construction drawings, measurements or quantity data to M2PACT servers as part of ordinary project work.
You remain responsible for how project files are stored, backed up, shared or transferred, including when you use project packages to move project information between computers.
4. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Contact information you send us, such as your name, email address, company name and the content of your enquiry.
- Purchase and licence information needed to provide and administer your M2PACT licence, such as your name, email address, company details, plan type, order identifiers, subscription identifiers and licence identifiers.
- Licence and device information used to activate, validate and manage licences and trials. This may include application version, device-related identifiers or hashed device identifiers, licence status, activation information and validation timestamps.
- Support information you choose to provide when you contact us, which may include screenshots, log details or descriptions of a problem. Please do not send project files containing personal or confidential information unless they are genuinely required to resolve your support request.
- Website technical information generated when you visit the website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, date and time. This information may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers to deliver and secure the website.
We do not collect your full payment card number.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to sales, support and general enquiries
- provide, activate, validate and manage M2PACT licences and trials
- process purchases and provide related order, subscription or licence communications
- prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorised licence activity
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the website and related infrastructure
- comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your construction drawings, quantity takeoff data or project records for advertising.
6. Licence and trial checks
M2PACT may connect to our licensing infrastructure from time to time to activate or validate a trial or paid licence.
Licence and trial checks may transmit limited technical and licence-related information necessary to determine whether the software is authorised for use.
These checks are not intended to collect or upload your construction drawings, measurements, quantity data or project documents.

7. Payments
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for M2PACT purchases.
Lemon Squeezy collects and processes the payment and billing information required to complete your transaction under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may receive information from Lemon Squeezy that is necessary to administer your subscription or licence, such as your name, email address, company information, order details, subscription status and licence-related identifiers.
We do not receive your full payment card number.

8. Website hosting and cookies
The M2PACT website uses third-party hosting and infrastructure services, including Cloudflare.
These providers may process technical logs and network information to deliver pages, improve performance, detect abuse and maintain security.
The public website is not used to operate your M2PACT projects. We do not currently provide a cloud customer project dashboard through m2pact.com.
If the website or its infrastructure providers use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security, load balancing, session handling or basic operation, those technologies are used for those purposes.
We do not currently use advertising cookies on the M2PACT website.
9. When we share information
We may share limited information with:
- payment and commerce providers, currently Lemon Squeezy, to process purchases and subscriptions
- hosting, infrastructure and security providers, including Cloudflare
- email providers used to receive and respond to enquiries
- professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary
- authorities or regulators where disclosure is required by law
We use service providers subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards where applicable.
Some providers, such as payment processors and commerce providers, may act as independent controllers of personal information under their own privacy policies.
10. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including licence administration, support, accounting, tax and legal requirements.
Project files stored on your own computer remain under your control and are retained according to your own storage and records practices.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information we hold.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to the computers, storage locations and project files where your M2PACT data is stored.
12. International processing
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you are located.
Payment processing, licensing infrastructure, website hosting, email services and other supporting services may involve systems or servers located in different jurisdictions.
13. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to request:
- access to information we hold about you
- correction of inaccurate information
- deletion of certain information
- restriction of certain processing
- objection to certain processing
